Now, you have to start doing Task No. 4 of our Unit 1: "How can I show how a computer works?"


In this Task, you have to create a multimedia Presentation to show people the hardware and software a computer need.

You will use Microsoft PowerPoint to create your presentation. All the information you need to create is now available here, in ourWiki!

Preparing your Presentation

Your presentation should include the following:
  1. A Cover slide, which includes your name(s), date, and a creative title for your presentation
  2. A second slide with the Table of Contents (ToC), where each entry is a hyperlink to the correspondent slide.
  3. A section about Hardware. This section should include:
    Processor
    RAM
    Input devices
    Output devices
    Storage devices
  4. A section about Software. This section should include:
    Operating Systems
    Applications
  5. An attribution slide(s) to tell the audience where you got your resources from (music, pictures and text).
  6. Every slide has to include a hyperlink to the ToC slide.


Other requirements for your presentation:

  1. It has to be automatic (slides move without user intervention)
  2. Music: Choose good song or piece of music for your presentation.
  3. Select a good combination of colors and a nice design for your presentation.
  4. It has to include “transition effects” (from slide to slide) and “animation effects” (on each slide).
